The Stork OTC: An Aid to Conception

Happy Wednesday!

Today I wanted to talk to you all about a product that is popular in the TTC world. If you follow my Instagram @thefaithtofollow, you may already know that I am currently a Stork OTC ambassador. What that means is that for the next three months, the company will be sending me two Stork OTC devices to help aid our efforts in TTC, in exchange for my honest review and thoughts.

What is the Stork OTC?

The Stork OTC is an FDA-cleared device that couples can use when they are trying to get pregnant. The Stork OTC uses cervical cap insemination, placing the sperm directly at the opening of the cervix, compared to an IUI that injects the sperm into the cervix and can only be done at a fertility clinic, but the entire process of the Stork OTC is in the privacy of your own home. And better yet, you don’t have to take any medications. No doctor visits. No injections. No ridiculous price tags.

Who should use the Stork?

One of the most common and helpful things you can do when trying to conceive is to start tracking ovulation. This can be with an app on your phone, ovulation tests, and/or tracking your basal body temperature. The Stork OTC is the next step when you have been testing for ovulation and haven’t had success. There are a number of reasons why the Stork OTC can help aid you in conception. The Stork OTC can help couples who have unexplained infertility, diminished sperm count, sperm motility issues, and unfavorable vaginal environment. The Stork OTC is also the perfect product to try when couples aren’t yet ready to proceed with an in-clinic procedure such as IUI and IVF.

How does the Stork help with conception?

Cervical cap insemination has been documented with success rates up to 20%, which is actually a comparable success rate to an IUI that you would receive at a fertility clinic. (16-21%) Another way that the Stork OTC helps aid in conception, is that according to a post-coital study, an average of 3.23 higher value of sperm concentration was found at the cervix compared to natural intercourse for 85% of the study participants.

Where can I purchase the Stork?

You can purchase from their website, or at places like CVS, Walgreens, and Target. For a full list of retailers click here.
Currently, The Stork OTC is running a promotion where you can save $40 when you purchase two devices. This is the perfect time to try the Stork OTC!

This opportunity has come at a perfect time for us in our TTC journey. At the beginning of this year, my husband and I decided that we were going to go to a reproductive endocrinologist to run more tests and get an official evaluation. We also decided to both get back on vitamins and supplements. Not just your basic prenatal, and multivitamin, but the hardcore cabinet full of supplements. Around that same time, I reached out to a Youtuber who I have been following, Kassie Moon. (Go check her out, she’s awesome!) I found her videos to be extremely helpful since she is a Christian who is also going through infertility. She happens to also be an ambassador for the Stork OTC and told me that I should apply to become one, and I did! And here I am! I am beyond excited! 🙂

Being a part of this program is truly a blessing. While we are saving and waiting for our supplements to kick in (it takes at least 3 consistent months to show results), The Stork OTC in my opinion, is the perfect product to help us right now. We have been putting off going to an RE for many reasons, and this ambassadorship with the Stork OTC seems to be an answer to prayers.

During these next three months, feel free to contact me here or on my Instagram for any questions that you may have about the Stork OTC! I would love to help you in your journey! 🙂 Thanks everyone for reading!
